An elopement or micro wedding isn't a smaller version of a wedding day — it's a different kind of day entirely, built around exactly what you two want it to be. No seating chart, no timeline built around 150 people, just the two of you, the vows, and whatever landscape you pick to say them in.
We treat these days with the same care, creative direction, and documentary approach we bring to every wedding we shoot — you're not getting a stripped-down experience because the guest count is smaller.

Our timeless video option for elopements, designed for couples who want to preserve the most meaningful moments: 3 hours of wedding-day video coverage, full ceremony recording (raw footage), limited reception coverage (time permitting), and a 2–4 minute cinematic film.
Your questions, answered

Yes, yes, and YES! Even with just rings, some ribbon, and flowers (if you have them), we can do so much visually. Small details photograph just as beautifully in an intimate setting as they do at a 200-person wedding. Don't skip them just because the guest list is short.

It's not included by default. 35mm film coverage is available as an add-on for +$185 per roll (~approximately 25-30 scans). It's a beautiful option if you love that nostalgic, textured look, but it's not baked into the base price for our micro-weddings.

The five tiers scale by hours of coverage (1 through 5), and the photo gallery size scales with it. More time together means more moments captured, from about 75+ photos at 1 hour up to 450+ photos at 5 hours. Shorter sessions work well for a simple courthouse-style elopement; longer ones give room for getting-ready moments, a first look, potential family portraits, and more exploring at your chosen location.

Yes! The Keepsake is our recommended elopement video package ($1,650): 3 hours of coverage, full ceremony recording, and a 2–4 minute cinematic film to go with your photos. Custom packages for more or less coverage are available by request.

Shenandoah National Park Overlooks
The mountain overlooks along Skyline Drive are among our favorite elopement backdrops in Virginia. It gives golden light, layered ridgelines, and so much quiet that it feels like the park is cleared out just for you and the ones you love most.
Washington, D.C.
For couples who want their elopement to feel like a love letter to the city, DC's streets always deliver. With timeless architecture and monuments in the distance, it delivers a polished and effortlessly candid look every time.
Maymont
Maymont's gardens, stone bridges, and century-old trees give Richmond elopements a storybook feel without ever leaving the city. It's one of the most romantic backdrops we shoot in all year.
